You will need the following items to make the Halloween mini pizzas easily.

  • Sharp knife -- you'll need this to cut the olives, veggies, and cheese.
  • Pizza peel -- this is to easily get your pizza in and out of the oven.
  • Oven stone -- We use a stone and a steel. This really gets your pizza crust nicely done.
  • Ghost cookie cutter -- it's easy to cut a ghoulish shape with a cutter.
  • Wilton tip -- to cut the eyes out.

👩🏻‍🍳 Tips

Expert tip: It's important that you get mozzarella cheese and NOT the processed cheese. The processed variety will not melt like it should on the Halloween mini pizzas

  • Pay attention to the Mummy and Ghost Pizzas to add additional cheese if the design spreads after baking. You can also substitute buffalo mozzarella - it tends to hold its shape better in the oven.
  • Halloween night can be very busy for families. Consider making the pizzas in advance and freezing them. Add a few minutes to the baking time.
  • In a time crunch solution, purchase frozen mini pizzas and decorate them.
  • Halloween party activity -- pizzas would be fun for kids and adults to make themselves. Pre-cut toppings and allow their imaginations to run wild.
  • If you don't have a pizza peel, use the back of a cookie sheet to slide the pizzas onto the stone.
  • If you don't have a stone - bake the Halloween mini pizzas on the back of a cookie sheet.
