👩🏻‍🍳 Tips

  • Squeeze as much liquid from the cooked spinach and pat the artichoke hearts dry before you add these ingredients into the cream cheese mixture. This will prevent a runny dip.
  • Allow leftover dip to cool completely before you store it in the fridge.
  • Bring the clock of cream cheese to room temperature to soften it for easy mixing in the stand mixer.
  • Remember that frozen spinach holds more water than fresh spinach and you will need to remove this excess moisture.

📚 Variations

  • Use reduced-fat cream cheese, mayonnaise, and sour cream as a healthier option.
  • Make this dip in a Crockpot for crock pot spinach artichoke dip.
  • Add red pepper flakes or cayenne pepper to this spinach dip recipe for a kick of heat.
  • Add extra cheese to the dip mixture for even more cheesy goodness!
  • Omit the artichokes if you don’t like them and add more spinach or other vegetables, such as caramelized onion.
  • Use frozen spinach instead. The excess liquid must be removed.

🥫 Storage

Store this spinach artichoke dip in the dip bowl, covered with plastic wrap, or in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days. Don’t freeze this dip as it could alter the texture.
