- In a large skillet over medium-high, heat the oil and butter.
- Brown the ground beef, breaking it up into smaller pieces with a wooden spoon. And then drain and set aside in a separate bowl.
- Add the minced onion and bell pepper to the same skillet and cook for about 2-3 minutes until the vegetables soften.
- Transfer the beef back to the skillet together with tomato paste.
- The ketchup and brown sugar goes into the pan next. Mix.

- ⅓ cup Green bell pepper minced
- ½ Yellow Onion mincd
- 3 Cloves garlic minced
- 1 Tablespoon Tomato paste
- ⅔ cup Ketchup
- ⅓ cup Water
- 1 Tablespoon Brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon Yellow mustard
- ¾ teaspoon Chili powder
- ½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- ½ teaspoon Kosher salt
- ¼ teaspoon Red pepper flakes
- ¼ teaspoon Black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon Hot sauce optional
Instructions
