- ground beef
- small onion
- green bell pepper
- cajun seasoning -- we like Slap Ya Mama but you may use whatever you like.
- garlic powder
- onion powder
- dried Italian seasoning
- marinara sauce -- use either homemade or your favorite brand.
- unsalted butter
- minced garlic
- heavy cream
- shredded parmesan cheese
- kosher salt
- black pepper
- spaghetti noodles
- shredded mozzarella cheese -- we prefer shredding our won from a mozzarella block of cheese. We find that it melts better without the additional additives.
- dried parsley flakes

- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the ground beef, onion, bell pepper, cajun seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian seasoning.
- Break up the beef into crumbles and cook, occasionally stirring, until the beef is no longer pink and the veggies have softened, about 10 minutes.
- Drain any excess grease then stir in the marinara sauce and reduce the heat to low, simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- While the meat sauce simmers, make the alfredo sauce. And then, start cooking the spaghetti noodles according to package directions.
- In a dutch oven or large stock pot melt the butter over medium heat. Add then, the garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Stir in the heavy cream, parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. And, cook until the cheese has melted and the sauce thickens slightly.
- Add the cooked spaghetti to the alfredo sauce and stir until the noodles are coated in the sauce.
- Pour this mixture into the prepared baking dish.
- Top with the meat sauce.
- Sprinkle the mozzarella and parmesan cheese over the top.
- Bake uncovered for 15 minutes until the cheese is melted.
- Garnish with dried parsley flakes (optional) and serve!
