  • ½ Cup Tahini
  • ½ Cup Lemon Juice freshly squeezed
  • 3 Garlic Cloves minced
  • ¼ Cup Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 30 oz Chickpeas 2 (15 oz.) Cans chickpeas drained and rinsed
  • 4-5 Tablespoons Water
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  • Add the tahini and lemon juice to a blender, or food processor and blend for 2 minutes.
  • Next add the garlic cloves, olive oil and cumin. Blend again for another minute.
  • Add half of the chickpeas, and blend for 1 minute, then add the other half and blend again for another minute. Scrape down the sides as necessary.
  • Add the water, slowly, until you get a nice creamy consistency that you’re happy with.
  • Season with salt, to taste and serve with your favorite chips, veggies.
