- ½ Cup Tahini
- ½ Cup Lemon Juice freshly squeezed
- 3 Garlic Cloves minced
- ¼ Cup Olive Oil
- 1 teaspoon Cumin
- 30 oz Chickpeas 2 (15 oz.) Cans chickpeas drained and rinsed
- 4-5 Tablespoons Water
- Salt to taste
Add the tahini and lemon juice to a blender, or food processor and blend for 2 minutes.
Next add the garlic cloves, olive oil and cumin. Blend again for another minute.
Add half of the chickpeas, and blend for 1 minute, then add the other half and blend again for another minute. Scrape down the sides as necessary.
Add the water, slowly, until you get a nice creamy consistency that you’re happy with.
Season with salt, to taste and serve with your favorite chips, veggies.
