Easy Crockpot Green Bean Casserole

This Crockpot Green Beans recipe is creamy and loaded with French fried onions and spices - perfect for Thanksgiving or any midweek meal.

Ingredients

  • 3 cans cut green beans, drained (14.5 oz. each) may also use French cut canned or frozen green beans.
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup (10.5oz. each) may also use cream of celery soup
  • ½ cup milk whole or 2%
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 can French-fried onions (6oz. can)

Instructions

  • Lightly spray the crockpot with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Drain the green beans and add them to the crockpot.
  • In a medium-size bowl, whisk together the cream of mushroom soup, milk, and seasonings until smooth.
  • Pour the soup mixture over the green beans and mix gently.
  • Fold in half of the can of French fried onions into the green bean mixture.
  • Place lid on crockpot and cook on low for 2-3 hours, or high for 1 hour.
  • Remove lid and sprinkle the remaining fried onions on top and serve immediately.
  • Store leftovers in refrigerator.
