Easy Cheesy Alfredo Baked Tortellini Casserole

This Baked Alfredo Tortellini recipe layers Alfredo sauce, cheese tortellini, fresh spinach, and sausage crumbles, topped with shredded cheese, and baked until the edges are golden brown and the velvety sauce is bubbling!

Ingredients

  • 50 oz. cheese tortellini 2 (25oz. frozen or pre-made cheese tortellini) Cooked 1 minute less than package directions. Don't overcook.
  • 9.6 oz. bag pre-cooked sausage crumbles
  • 2 C baby spinach chopped, packed
  • 30 oz. alfredo sauce, (I like to use basil alfredo sauce.) 2 (15oz. jars) I like the basil alfredo sauce for added flavor.
  • 1 C Parmesan cheese shredded
  • ½ C mozzarella cheese shredded
  • cracked black pepper to taste
  • pinch red pepper flakes optional

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350° Fahrenheit.
  • Spray the baking dish with vegetable spray.
  • Spread 1-2 spoonfuls of Alfredo sauce into bottom of a 9×13 baking dish or large casserole dish

Make in layers:

  • First layer: Tortellini, 1 C chopped spinach, ½ of the sausage. Drizzle alfredo sauce over top. Sprinkle with cracked pepper.
    Repeat layers the layers.
    Finish with a 3rd layer of tortellini. Cover with a thin layer of sauce. Top with cheese and more cracked black pepper.
  • Bake 30-35 minutes until edges are browned and bubbling.
  • Let the casserole rest for 5 minutes, then serve immediately.

Notes

For a spicy kick, add a pinch or two of red pepper!
